Hi there! This is my first blogpost in english. Since some of you guys asked me for recipes in english I would like to try to translate some of them here on my blog. Of course I will keep writing in german as well. Let’s see how it develops. Please don’t be too strict if I make mistakes. I am no native speaker and still learning 🙂 So let me introduce you to my fully raw, organic and energizing green smoothie which I like to have for breakfast or lunch.
Fully raw, organic and energizing GREEN SMOOTHIE
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh spinach
½ mango
½ huge banana
1 small apple
fresh juice of 1 orange
fresh ginger
2 tsp barley grass
1 tsp moringa
1 scoop pea protein
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp ground flax seeds
water
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until very smooth. Put the leafy greens on the bottom of the blender and add the powders and then the heavy fruits on top. Fill up with as much water as you want. Depends on how thick you like your smoothie.
This is one of my favorite smoothie mixtures. It is packed with vitamins, minerals, plant based protein and it keeps me full and satisfied for at least 3 hours. I love to start my day with raw food, so this is a quick and perfect breakfast. The taste of mango makes it exotic and sweet. You should give it a go!
Btw it was my second attempt to add these cute tiny flowery fruits to the smoothie jar and it worked out pretty well. The trick is to cute the fruits very thinly.
